Pangu Shengong (aka Pan Gu Mystical Qigong), developed by Master Ou Wen Wei, is a form I have been practicing diligently since 2010. Its philosophy and practice are rooted in kindness and benevolence; it is designed to absorb the beneficial energy of the sun and moon, and the essence of the Qi (vital energy) that permeates the universe, regulating our own Life Force and immune system. Simple to learn, its benefits to health and well-being can be experienced immediately. The positive effects from regular practice include:
* Balance, harmony, peace of mind
* Strengthening the immune system
* Increased well-being, happiness & vitality
Curious about this powerful, magical form? Click here for a broader overview, and here to learn about my experience practicing the form for the past 10+ years.

I am also a certified instructor of this form; Let me know if you'd like to learn it!

Qi Gong Paul Fraser

My esteemed teacher, Paul Fraser, an acupuncturist and Medical Qi Gong practitioner & instructor, has had a tremendous influence on my pathway towards wellness, and towards my vocation as a healing arts practitioner and teacher.

Discovering these arts as he faced a life-threatening illness in 1987, and inspired by Qi Gong’s restoration of his health, Paul devoted himself to the study of Medical Qi Gong. With a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, he is the former director of the school’s Medical Qi Gong Program, and continues to study, practice and teach with a unique style that is profound, inspiring and highly accessible. Paul continues to teach and guide me to this day. Visit his portal here.

I’ve been practicing Kung Fu at Kudoki Martial Arts Academy with my beloved & dedicated teachers – Sifu Max Laredo and Sifu Nick Papadakis – since 2002, over 22 years ago as I write these lines. My Sifus (a Sifu is a skilled person, or master) have taught me the spirit of generosity; reinforced the discipline I acquired as a classical dancer; and infused me with a deep love for this ancient martial art that has become such an important part of my life – its beauty, efficacy and balance (when practiced properly) of the universal forces of Yin & Yang. Thanks to my Sifus’ love and dedication, I continue to train, learn and grow, expanding my understanding, and passing on my skills and knowledge.

Thea Elijah

Thea Elijah, teacher of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, has been extremely influential in my understanding of the Five Element theory underlining Chinese medicine, and very impactful in my work. Having apprenticed and studied with some of the most influential Chinese medicine teachers in the West, her approach to this medicine as a comprehensive system for healing in all aspects of human experience — from the most spiritually noble to the physically practical — has been instrumental, informing my life, my practice, and my teaching. Find her many invaluable offerings here.
